Cantilevered Forms

Drawing inspiration from the monolithic rock formations found on the Cornish coast and the precarious nature of how they balance on the clifftops, these pieces seek to exploit the intrinsic qualities of hot steel to embody this. By crushing together individual blocks of steel, and creating structures which appear to inexplicably support them, both the inherent strength and fluidity of steel is portrayed.
